Product Description: The green cucumber is botanically a fruit, and is related to the melon, squash and pumpkin. It is a elongated cylindrical , with a crisp tender green skin. it's flesh is juicy and cool to taste and soft edible seeds surrounded by a translucent gel and is approximately 20-30cm long.
Cucumber Continental Uses- Wash, slice and eat raw with the skin on. Use in salads, as an accompaniment to Indian curries. Use as hors-d'oeuvres sliced 1/2cm thick and topped with Barambah Organic Quack and smoked salmon.
Cucumber Continental Nutrition- Although less nutritious than most fruit and vegetables, the fresh cucumber is still a very good source of the vitamin C and the mineral molybdenum.
