- Place all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender.
- Process on low until the desired consistency is reached*.
- Place in bowl or dish and serve with crackers.
Alternatively, you can use a potato masher or mortar and pestle to grind the ingredients – this will give you a more rustic textured hummus.
*Note: an average blender might not be able to correctly do the job. You want a thick paste-like consistency, an average blender is not powerful enough to mix it and runs the risk of damaging your blender.
