Product Description: Lucuma powder is from the dehydrated fruit pulp of the Pouteria lucuma tree, which is native to South America. This fruit has been cultivated and harvested for thousands of years and was used traditionally to promote wound healing and provide anti-inflammatory effects.
Lucuma powder has a slightly sweet, caramel-like flavour which makes a tasty addition in desserts and baking. It’s rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre, making a nutritious and delicious natural sweetener option.
Mix 1 tablespoon into beverages, smoothies, yoghurt, protein shakes and puddings, especially as a sweet flavour for desserts and smoothies. This can be added to baked goods, used to replace sugar creating butterscotch flavour.
