How It Works?

REGISTER AND ORDER
The first thing that you will need to do is create a HomeFresh account. Once you have, you can sign in and create a new standing order. That’s an ongoing Custom Box.
ORDER YOUR BOX
Upon creating a new standing order, you’ll be prompted to select a box type from the list. Here you’ll see Steps A-F. It covers all the basics from frequency of delivery through to your delivery address.
WAITING FOR CONFIRMATION
Once you’ve placed a new custom box order with us, our HomeFresh team will check over your details. You’ll need to wait for us to set up and activate your new box before you can jump on and customise it for the first time! An email will be sent to you confirming your order is ready and will also contain details about the service with a link to sign in and get started.
NOTIFICATIONS
Each Thursday afternoon, you will receive an email to notify you that the seasonal list has been updated and is available for customisation. Once you save your customisation, you’ll receive an automated email confirming the items you've chosen. You’re able log in and alter your order as many times as you need so long as it’s before your cut-off.
DELIVERY
Our drivers leave the packing warehouse mid-morning. When they arrive on your designated delivery day, they will knock on the door to let you know the box has arrived. If you are not home and have not left us instructions, the driver will leave the box in a protected location by the front door.

HOLDS
Whether you’re going away on holiday, having a break or simply don’t need your box this week, we understand that you might need to put your box on hold until your return. Our system alows you to put your standing order on hold and automatically re-activate on a date of your choice! All you need to do is contact us via phone or email with the date of your return and we'll do the rest.

QUICK FACTS ABOUT ORDERING

Customisation opens at 4pm every Thursday for the following week.

• Cut-off for customising is at 4pm, 2 days prior to your delivery day.

• You can’t customise your box before we send you the confirmation email.

• If you don’t customise, the box will still be delivered with the produce from the standard weekly list.

• You can add groceries to your custom box order and the shipping will remain free.

• You can leave us delivery instructions if you are not going to be at home.

• We are unable to give an exact eta on deliveries, however, all orders should arrive before 4pm.

• Cardboard boxes can be returned for reuse or recycling. Please fold boxes flat and leave them near the front door.

• Foam boxes can be returned for reuse if undamaged.

• Gel packs can be returned (please do not leave in boxes).

• Some delivery zones will be serviced by an external courier company and may be subject to overnight delivery.

• If your region is serviced by courier only, we will not be able to collect old boxes for recycling.

• You can request no plastic packaging in your box by getting in touch with our team. Please note that this does not include the plastic liner in the box, as it is a legal requirement under our HACCP Certification.
